If you listen…really listen… you’ll hear them… distant places calling out to you! With their sights and sounds, their history and heritage, that give each place a character it’s very own…!

Here I share my stories and experiences of distant places that continue to beckon me long after my visit. Like that haunting tune running around in your head non-stop, I spill it out, hoping it hits a chord of resonance, perhaps even enticing the melody of an exchange ?

Being born an Army brat has its advantages 🙂 One for me was this great thirst for places and people unfamiliar, to travel, unravel and understand – both the world and myself. Lucky breaks came in the form of job opportunities in various lands (US, Germany, China, India, Singapore), and a God-awesome like-inclined friend and fellow traveler 🙂

Everyone has their own reasons to sail away! Mine are to experience a place, to feel, to imbibe. To try understand the underlying past, the stories and heritage that shape a place to be so special. To share my experiences of these places that cherish their uniqueness.
